Mourad, Castillejo and Alcalá, in the Cursa dels Nassos

Barcelona will dismiss the year next December 31 running the Cursa dels Nassos. Among the more than 11,200 registered, there will be a good representation of the professional athletics in the streets of the City, with the presence of outstanding names of the national and international panorama. Topping the list in the men's category are Olympic athletes Carles Castillejo, winner of the event five times, and Abdelaziz Merzougui, present in London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016, as well as local Marc Alcalá, champion of Europe sub- 23 and of absolute Spain in 1,500 m.

Alongside the quartet mentioned above, the winner will be  Cursa de Bombers 2015, Mohamed Zarhouni, Andorran Marcos Sanza, Chilean Andrés Acuña, Argentine Rodrigo Torres, Frenchmen Herroudi Chaouki, Romain Courcières and Benoît Dunet, The Latvians Maris Abele, Edgars Sumskis, Valerijs Zolnerovics, Dimitrijs Serjogin and Janis Razgalis, and a large group of Africans, composed of Mourad El Bannouri, winner of the Cursa of El Corte Inglés, Brahim Fateh, Mohamed Benktib, Samir Ait Bouychamane, Ibrahim Ezzaydouni, El Mehdi Aboujanah, Abderrahim El Jaafari, Lahcen Ait Alibou or Youssef Taoussi.

In girls, the favorite poster falls on the Moroccan Salima Charki, runner-up of the Jean Bouin 2016, and Hasna Bahom, winner in the Cursa of El Corte Inglés, the Latvian Gundega Vancane, the Cuban Dayane Huerta, the Russian Alexandra Berezhnova and the Catalan Marta Galimany, international in half marathon, Miriam Ortiz Rivas, Meritxell Soler and Lara Andreu.
